The WMC Jet Unit is designed as a
light weight system principally for
planing craft.
The Main Duct is constructioned of
rugged composite materials.
This enables the light weight corrosion free main unit
the ability to mould the intake to the hull shape. Making
it easily adaptible for different hull configurations or
multiple layouts. It is also suitable for displacement and
semi-displacement hulls, subject to hull shape and
application.
The WMC water jet housing is manufacturerd from a
highly robust Glass Reinforced Plastic composite. Its
casting is made from High Tensile ASA 957 and shaft
machined from stainless steel 316. Making this water
jet strong, tough and light weight unit.
The pump is a single stage mixed flow
design.
This mixed axial flow water jet delivers both efficiency
and performance. This gives the most efficient
performance for the flow rate and pressure to suit the
vessel speed.
The water jet incorporates an
innovative and a state of the art
impeller design.
The impeller design matched with nozzle and bucket
configuration produce the ultimate in speed and
maneuverability.
