SPECIFICATIONS
The WMC 533 jet construction features are rugged composite materials for the main duct are incorporated. This gives light weight corrosion free main unit with the ability to mould the intake to the hull shape. The pump is a single stage mixed flow design which gives the most efficient performance for the flow rate and pressure to suit the vessel speed.

IMPELLER DIAMETER AT INLET
533mm (21.1") left hand rotation. Range of impellers available to match power and r.p.m. Impeller clearance adjustment facility available as standard.

NOZZLE DIAMETER
Standard 343mm (13.5").
Other sizes available for optimisation.

BEARING
Front: Spherical roller thrust and radial
bearings, oil bath lubricated.
Rear: Water lubricated rear bearing.
Oil lubriacted as an optional extra.

SEALS
Mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces with backup lip seal. Rubber lip seals in bearing housing retain bearing oil.

HAND HOLE
An access cover is provided on top of the jet body to allow inspection of the impeller and for clearance of debris.
WEIGHT
Jet - 680kg. (1500lbs.) nominal.
Entrained water including external over hang - 390kg (860 lbs )
CATHODIC PROTECTION
Comprehensive cathodic protection system terminating at single anode with easy access for maintenance.

CONTROLS
Control forces on steering and reverse are balanced and nominally zero. Hydraulic rams are built into the jet for simple operation and
complete power assisted systems can be matched to the particular boat requirements.

COUPLING
The shaft terminates in a tapered and keyed section and a coupling flange can be provided to match the desired intermediate shaft.
