'CONSTRUCTION
The WMC 306 water jet
housing is manufactured from a highly robust Glass
Reinforced Plastic composite. Its casting is made from High Tensile ASA 957 and shaft machined from stainless steel 316. Making this water jet strong, tough and light weight unit.
DESIGN
This mixed axial flow water jet delivers both efficiency and performance from 0 to 50 knots. The water jet
incorporates an innovative
and a state of the art
impeller design, this matched with nozzle and bucket configuration produce the ultimate in speed and maneuverability.
'SINGLE' JET SELECTION
Having established a power plant, and boat
operating speed the graph shows appropriate
choice of jet size. The curves show the band of
most efficient operation for each of the WMC jet
models. These figures apply to SINGLE
installations.
"SINGLE" JET PERFORMANCE
The chart indicates the performance to be
expected using a WMC jet. The factor for
performance is POWER to WEIGHT RATIO,
although it is also affected by boat size, dead rise
angle, L.C.G., surface finish and particularly for
boats at low planing speeds, by planing surface in
relation to weight. While this is not a guarantee,
90% of boats 22' to 45' range fitted with WMC
jets give speeds lying between the lines shown.
-Single action raised inspection cover
-Sealed aft bearing assembly(for highly silted operation)
-Joystick (2 axis) control system (for one handed station keeping)
-Manual or Fly by wire hydraulic electric control systems.
-High volume pressure discharge 2800 L/min (750 GPM)
-51mm (2 in.) suction-salvage system.
